What’s needed for the structure of professional sports to be a better support of the family unit? Or should we leave pro sports alone?

  1. I think it we need the manual for being a pro athelete/husband. Actually should be husband/pro athelete. Lets get the priorities straight gentlemen. If you are blessed to have a wife as well as a dream career, then HONOR that. Do what it takes to be different than what the world expects of you. Rise above the culture and be the backbone of your family, and a light in this dark culture. I wonder if Tiger’s dad ever behaved that way? Is that what he saw growing up? Or is he acting this way cause dad isn’t around anymore to hold him accountable? Look at Tyson, when Cuss died it was down hill for him. Because the voice of reason and love in his life was gone…..Just a thought….Whats yours?????

  2. “Absolute power corrupts absolutely” All men of power believe they are above the law and unfortunately, women with no regards to the marriage vows are drawn to them. Maybe we need to realize all we know about these men is what we see on TV. Another reason not to idolize them?

  3. I also believe that when a person has a certain amount of power they are open to letting that power go to their heads and their sense of accountability to others diminishes. There needs to be alot of self-discipline that goes with having power. I think we need to stop blaming others for our behaviors and own up to our choices. Unfortunately Tiger, as well as others in positions of public power, made extremely poor choices that hurt many loved ones. I believe that he is owning up to his mistakes and should be given the privacy to rectify his mistakes without judgement from those that feel their slate is clean. Careful on the stones you cast.
